Scope

This part specifies the minimum requirements for the performance, design, fabrication, installation, inspection, testing and quality assurance of air ducts and duct supports. This section applies to the design, production, installation, inspection and testing of air ducts and air duct supports related to nuclear safety in the ventilation, air conditioning and air purification systems of nuclear facilities. Non-nuclear safety-related air ducts and air duct supports in the ventilation, air conditioning and air purification systems of nuclear facilities can also be implemented with reference.
