Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, general requirements, testing procedures, acceptance criteria and testing reports for ultrasonic testing of polyethylene pipe electrofusion joints. This standard applies to ultrasonic testing of electrofusion joints of polyethylene pipes with a nominal diameter of 40 mm to 400 mm.
