Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, symbols, general requirements, characterization of defects and safety assessment for safety assessment of electrofusion joints of polyethylene pipes containing defects. This standard applies to the electrofusion joints of polyethylene pipes with defects connected to polyethylene pipes and electrofusion socket fittings.
