Scope: This part specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging and storage of static carrier wave watt-hour meters. This part applies to newly manufactured static carrier energy meters (hereinafter referred to as instruments) with low-voltage power line carrier meter reading function for measuring AC electric energy with a rated frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz (hereinafter referred to as instruments) and their type tests. Reliability requirements are covered by the IEC 62059 series of standards. If the user has no special requirements, the instrument is made into an indoor instrument.
