This standard specifies the material, surface quality, diameter and diameter deviation, length and length deviation, joints, sampling, test location, mechanical performance test, Galvanized layer test, certificate of conformity, etc. Galvanized steel wire is divided into 5 strength grades, which are represented by grade 1, grade 2, grade 3, grade 4 and grade 5 respectively. The galvanized layer is divided into 2 grades, namely grade A and grade B. This standard applies to galvanized steel wires for overhead stranded wire structure and (or) reinforcement.
