- This standard specifies the material, surface quality, diameter and diameter deviation, length and length deviation, joints, sampling, test location, mechanical performance test, Galvanized layer test, certificate of conformity, etc. Galvanized steel wire is divided into 5 strength grades, which are represented by grade 1, grade 2, grade 3, grade 4 and grade 5 respectively.
