This standard applies to galvanized steel wires for overhead stranded wire structure and (or) reinforcement. In order to meet the needs of stranded wire users, there are three strength grades of steel wire to choose from: ordinary strength, high strength and extra high strength, which are represented by grade 1, grade 2 and grade 3 respectively. There are 2 grades of galvanized coating: Grade A and Grade B. The galvanized layer is expressed by the mass of the smallest zinc layer per unit area.
