This part of GB/T 16608 is a sub-specification, applicable to electrical relays with or without quality assessment for telecommunications. Relays supplied in accordance with this standard are intended for use in telecommunication equipment, but are also suitable for use in certain industrial and other equipment as electrical or non-electrical relays. The test methods specified in this section are quoted from IEC 61810-7:1997 and other standards for use in detailed specifications developed in accordance with this specification. This section also specifies the basic checklists to be used for detail specifications. Detailed inspection tables are specified in the blank detail specification as a supplement to this specification.
