Scope: This part specifies the preferred ratings and characteristics of metal foil polystyrene film dielectric DC fixed capacitors, and selects appropriate quality assessment procedures, test and measurement methods from GB/T 2693-2001, and gives general performance requirements. The test severity levels and requirements specified in the detail specification quoted in this section shall have the same or higher performance level as in this section, and no reduction in performance level is allowed. This standard applies to DC fixed capacitors with polystyrene film as the dielectric and metal foil as electrodes for electronic equipment. This section does not include capacitors with reactive power exceeding 200VA. This section does not include fixed capacitors for suppressing power supply electromagnetic interference, which is included in GB/T 14472-1998.
