Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of air conditioning condensation heat recovery equipment. This standard applies to condensation heat recovery equipment for motor-driven cold water (heat pump) units using vapor compression refrigeration cycles in industrial and civil buildings. It also applies to condensation heat recovery equipment for room air conditioners and unit air conditioners. This standard does not apply to drinking water, beverages and special industrial equipment that does not use water as a cooling (heat) carrier.
