Scope: This standard specifies the principles, basis, content and technical requirements for offshore oil and gas exploration and development drilling design. This standard applies to the drilling design of oil and gas exploration and development operations carried out in the internal waters, territorial sea, contiguous zone, exclusive economic zone, continental shelf and other sea areas under the jurisdiction of the People's Republic of China. Chinese oil operators can also refer to the drilling design in other overseas waters.
