Scope
Purpose of this test: It is recommended that this test method be limited to component test samples whose sample structure will produce the "breathing" and freezing effects of the damp heat test, and whose thermal characteristics are compatible with the temperature change rate of this test. For solid test samples with fine cracks or porous materials, such as test samples packaged in plastic, where moisture absorption or diffusion plays a dominant role, it is best to use a constant damp heat test, such as test C. For larger test samples, such as equipment, or components for which thermal stability should be ensured at each stage of the cycle, the alternating damp heat test Db should be used although the number of cycles in a given time is reduced so that the degree of acceleration is not so high. Db. In this case, test Db usually forms part of the test sequence specified in Chapter 7 of GB/T 2421-1999. Like other damp heat tests, this test can apply polarization voltage or electric load to the test sample. When the electrical load is applied, the condition of the test chamber shall not be affected by the temperature rise of the test sample. In summary, this test obviously cannot be interchanged with the constant damp heat test or the alternating damp heat test, nor can it replace them. The choice of test procedure should take due account of the physical and thermal properties of the test specimens and the type of failure mechanism prevailing in each particular case. Purpose: To provide a combined test method, which is mainly used for component test samples, to determine the resistance performance of test samples under the degradation of high temperature, high humidity and low temperature conditions in an accelerated manner.
