- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of computer-controlled pattern sewing machines for industrial sewing machines. This standard applies to computer-controlled pattern sewing machines (hereinafter referred to as "pattern machines") that sew thin, medium-thick, thick, and extra-thick materials.
