Scope

This part of YY 0600 specifies the basic safety and main performance requirements for human pneumatic first aid resuscitators used by first responders. The device is intended for use in emergency settings and is continuously monitored by the operator during normal use. This part of YY 0600 also specifies the requirements for resuscitator components (3.22). This part of YY 0600 does not apply to electric resuscitators.
