- Scope
- This part specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and requirements for packaging, marking, transportation and storage of small cylindrical helical springs. This section applies to circular cross-section cylindrical helical compression, tension and torsion springs (hereinafter referred to as springs). The cross-sectional diameter of the spring material is less than 0.5mm. This section does not apply to springs with special properties.
