Scope

This standard gives the design requirements for screen dis lay (VDU) applications in nuclear power plant control rooms. This standard applies to newly designed nuclear power plant control rooms. For the design of exis ing control rooms or control areas, it should be noted that some of the assumptions made by this standard (such as the degree of automation) may not apply.
