Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of natural sodium bentonite anti-seepage liner (hereinafter referred to as "anti-seepage liner"). This standard applies to anti-seepage linings made of natural sodium bentonite as the main raw material, covered on both sides with geotextile (membrane) or plastic plates, and needle-punched, woven or bonded. This kind of anti-seepage liner is mainly used for waterproofing and anti-seepage projects in subways, tunnels, artificial lakes, thermal power plants, landfills, airports, water conservancy, roads and bridges, construction and other fields. The anti-seepage lining specified in this standard is not suitable for waterproofing and anti-seepage projects where high-concentration electrolyte solutions exist.
