Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, models, parameters and dimensions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of centrifugal switches for single-phase motor starting. This standard applies to centrifugal switches for starting single-phase motors with rated voltage AC 220 V and below, frequency 50/60 Hz, and power 5000 W and below.
