Scope
This standard specifies the type, basic parameters and dimensions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage, transportation and storage requirements of single-phase asynchronous motors (hereinafter referred to as motors) for closed refrigeration compressors. This standard applies to electric motors with a power of 0.03kW to 3.7kW working in R22, R407C, R410A, R134a, R502 or R600a refrigerant. Other types of motors whose refrigerants are used can also be implemented by reference.
