Scope

This standard specifies the type, basic parameters and dimensions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and bottom-up requirements of single-phase asynchronous motors for closed refrigeration compressors. This standard applies to electric motors with a power of 0.04 to 3.7kW working in R12, R22 or R502 refrigerants.
