Scope
Important note: The strong acids and alkalis used in this standard are corrosive, so care should be taken when using them. If splashed on body, rinse with plenty of water and avoid inhalation or skin contact. This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of ethylenediaminetetramethylenephosphonate sodium (EDTMPS) products. This standard applies to sodium ethylenediamine tetramethylenephosphonate prepared from ethylenediamine, formaldehyde, phosphorus trichloride and sodium hydroxide. This product is mainly used for scale and corrosion inhibition in water treatment. Molecular structure formula
