Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels and packaging of water treatment agent ethylenediaminetetramethylenephosphonate sodium (EDTMPS) products. This standard applies to sodium ethylenediamine tetramethylenephosphonate prepared from ethylenediamine, formaldehyde, and phosphorus trichloride. This product is mainly used for scale and corrosion inhibition in water treatment.
