Scope: Warning—Personnel using this standard should be familiar with regular laboratory operating procedures. This standard is not intended to address any safety issues related to its use. It is the user's responsibility to develop appropriate safety and health systems and ensure compliance with national regulations. This standard specifies the requirements for three types of general-purpose textile-reinforced thermoplastic drainage hoses with operating temperatures between -10°C and +60°C and a maximum working pressure of 2.5 MPa. These hoses can be used to transport water whose freezing point is lowered to -10°C through the use of additives. This standard does not apply to the following hoses: 　——Hoses for conveying drinking water; 　——Water inlet hoses for washing machines; 　——Fire-fighting hoses; 　——Specialized hoses for agricultural machinery; 　——Gardening hoses for the consumer market.
