Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, models, series and basic parameters, requirements, tests, inspection rules, product markings, packaging, storage, etc. of retread tire vulcanizers (hereinafter referred to as vulcanizers). This standard applies to vulcanizers that retread pneumatic tire casings using traditional methods. This standard does not apply to vulcanizing machines for partial retreading and pre-vulcanization retreading of vulcanized pneumatic tire casings.
