- This standard specifies the specifications and basic parameters, technical requirements, safety requirements, test methods and inspection rules of tire retreading vulcanizers. This standard applies to vulcanizers that retread pneumatic tire casings using traditional methods. This standard does not apply to vulcanizing machines for partial retreading and pre-vulcanization retreading of vulcanized discarded tire casings.
