This guiding technical document gives information on the technical specifications, design, test and loading of liquid-immersed transformers using high-temperature insulating materials or a combination of high-temperature insulating materials and conventional insulating materials for use by manufacturers and users. This guiding technical document is applicable to: —Power transformers designed according to IEC 60076-1; —Converter transformers designed according to IEC 61378 series standards; —Electric arc furnace transformers. Also included is the use of various combinations of liquid and solid insulation. For traction transformers using high-temperature insulating materials, this guiding technical document also serves as a guide.
