Scope

This document specifies terms and definitions for liquid-immersed power transformers using high-temperature insulating materials, insulation systems, temperature rise limits, components and materials, special considerations in design, required information, nameplates and supplementary information, tests, monitoring, diagnostics and maintenance. This document applies to the following liquid-immersed transformer products whose operating temperature is higher than the conventional limit and which use high-temperature insulating materials or a combination of high-temperature insulating materials and conventional insulating materials: ———Power transformers complying with GB/T1094.1;—— —Converter transformers that meet GB/T18494 series standards; ——Wind power transformers that meet GB/T1094.16; ——Electric arc furnace transformers; ——Reactors that meet GB/T1094.6. Other types of transformers and reactors using high temperature insulating materials can refer to this document.
