Scope
This part specifies the test conditions for plate heat exchangers with no liquid-liquid phase change, vapor-liquid condensation with phase change, and vapor-liquid evaporation with phase change (including semi-welded plate heat exchangers and fully welded plate heat exchangers). Test methods for heat transfer and fluid resistance properties. The test fluids applicable to this section are liquid-liquid and vapor-liquid. This part only considers the thermal resistance of heat transfer plate material, and does not consider the thermal resistance of dirt on both sides of the heat transfer plate. The number of plates of plate heat exchangers tested according to the provisions of this part shall not be less than 7.
