Scope

This part of GB/T 27698 specifies the methods for measuring the noise A sound level, octave band sound pressure level and sound power level of air coolers. This section applies to induced draft air coolers and blast air coolers with tube bundles placed horizontally. The noise measurement methods of inclined roof type, wet type, dry-wet combined type and other types of air coolers can refer to this part. This section does not apply to single components that generate noise (such as impellers, transmissions and motors, etc.). The measurement types specified in this part include two types: a) factory test: that is, the noise measurement of a single span by the manufacturer before the product leaves the factory; b) field test: that is, the noise measurement of a unit on the field device.
