Scope

This part of GB/T 27664 specifies the test methods and acceptance criteria for the electrical performance of Type A pulsed analog and digital ultrasonic testing instruments. This section applies to manual ultrasonic detectors that use single or double probes working within the center frequency range of 0.5MHz to 15MHz. Part of the inspection methods and acceptance criteria in this section are applicable to the ultrasonic detector in the automatic inspection system. This section does not apply to continuously operated ultrasonic testing instruments and ultrasonic thickness gauges.
