Scope

This standard specifies the raw materials, product quality, application scope, use method, inspection method, marking and packaging, transportation and storage, labeling and instructions, and precautions for phenolic disinfectants. This standard applies to phenolic compounds such as phenol, cresol, p-chloro-m-xylenol, and trichlorohydroxydiphenyl ether as main raw materials, using appropriate surfactants, ethanol or isopropanol as solubilizers, and ethanol or isopropanol as solubilizers. Propanol (or) water is used as a solvent, and no other disinfectants with bactericidal ingredients are added. This standard does not apply to other single or compound phenolic disinfectants.
