- This standard specifies the inspection cycle, inspection, re-inspection after repair, records and reports of pressure vessels in use in the petroleum industry. This standard is applicable to the inspection of pressure vessels in use in the onshore petroleum industry. This standard does not apply to the inspection of pressure vessels in use in the offshore petroleum industry. This standard does not apply to the inspection of mobile pressure vessels.
