Scope

This standard introduces the inspection methods of pipeline systems such as pipes, pipes, valves (except control valves) and fittings used in refineries and chemical plants. This standard does not include the inspection of some specific accessories such as instrumentation and control valves. This standard is applicable to the inspection of pressure pipelines in petrochemical enterprises.
