- This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of marine cargo elevators (referred to as elevators). This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of marine cargo elevators. Marine galley elevators and marine utility elevators can also be used as a reference.
