- This standard specifies the vibration measurement method of the entire marine diesel engine under normal operating conditions, including measurement direction, scale, measurement instrument, measurement point location and labeling method, measurement conditions, measurement procedures, and data recording and expression methods. This standard is applicable to the vibration measurement during actual ship testing and bench testing of various types of main and auxiliary diesel engines of steel ships.
