- Scope
- This standard specifies the size specifications, performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage requirements for nylon tubes and tube assemblies used in automobile air brake systems. This standard is applicable to piping systems with a maximum working pressure of 1.0MPa and piping systems with a maximum working pressure of 1.25MPa. The applicable working temperature range of the piping system specified in this standard is -40℃~100℃. This standard does not apply to nylon spiral tube assemblies for air brake systems between tractors and trailers. The requirements for spiral pipe assembly are specified in QC/T 79.
