Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions for surface finishing of internal combustion engine parts, finishing equipment, finishing media, surface requirements for parts before finishing, technical requirements for finishing, inspection methods, post-finishing treatment, and inspection Rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage, etc. This standard applies to the finished surfaces of metal parts of internal combustion engines. The finishing surfaces of metal parts in other industries can also be used as a reference.
