- This part specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, reliability tests, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of optical transmission components (TOSA) for small-scale hot-pluggable modules (SFP). This section applies to optical transmitting components for small hot-pluggable modules (SFP), hereinafter referred to as "TOSA".
