- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation requirements for optical transceiver modules used in fiber optic channels. This standard applies to optical transceiver modules for optical fiber channels with rates of 1200Mbyte/s, 400Mbyte/s, 200Mbyte/s and 100Mbyte/s.
