Scope

This part of JB/T 10696 specifies the test conditions, test procedures, test results and calculations for termite tests. This section specifies three termite testing methods: knockdown method, experimental colony method and nest method. This section is suitable for determining the termite corrosion resistance of wires, cables and optical cable products and their sheathing materials (mainly plastic or rubber).
