Scope: This standard specifies the conditions, items, requirements and rules for elevator installation and acceptance. This standard applies to electric drive traction elevators with a rated speed not greater than 6.0m/s and electric drive mandatory passenger elevators and cargo elevators with a rated speed not greater than 0.63m/s. For electric drive traction type passenger elevators and freight elevators with rated speed greater than 6.0m/s, this standard can be referred to, and the inapplicable part shall be determined through negotiation between the manufacturer and the customer. For special-purpose elevators such as fire elevators and elevators suitable for disabled persons, the acceptance content shall be adjusted according to the corresponding product standards. This standard does not apply to hydraulic lifts, utility lifts, freight-only lifts and home lifts.
