Scope

This part of GB/T 18691 specifies the design requirements, performance requirements, conformity assessment, marking and packaging of intake and exhaust valves. This section applies to irrigation systems where the water temperature does not exceed 60°C and the water may contain certain types and concentrations of fertilizers or chemicals commonly used in agriculture. This section applies to hydraulically driven irrigation intake and exhaust valves with a nominal size not less than DN15. This type of valve operates either directly by applying force to the opening and closing parts through the float, or by applying force to the opening and closing parts through the mechanical lever through the float. These valves can also be operated with force applied by an adjustable pilot valve.
