Scope

This document specifies the design requirements, performance requirements, conformity assessment, marking and packaging of check valves. The check valve is suitable for irrigation systems where the water temperature does not exceed 60°C and the water may contain certain types and concentrations of fertilizers or chemicals commonly used in agriculture. This document applies to hydraulically driven irrigation check valves with a nominal size not less than DN15. The designed working state of the check valve is fully open and fully closed, but it can also work for a long time in any intermediate state.
