- This part specifies the basic principles for formulating the "Technical Requirements for Network Management of Optical Transport Network (OTN)" part of the standard. It stipulates the OTN network management requirements and architecture, as well as the methodology used in formulating this part of the standard, the defined management interface locations and the used Communication protocol stack. This section applies to OTN network management systems.
