Scope: This standard specifies the product classification, design, materials, factory inspection and testing and preparation for shipment of motor-driven horizontal single-stage single-suction and single-stage double-suction centrifugal pulp pumps. This standard applies to centrifugal pulp pumps (hereinafter referred to as pumps) with slurry medium temperature ≤ 104 °C and concentration ≤ 8% in papermaking or pulping industrial processes.
