Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for high-pressure forgings used in petroleum drilling and production machinery products. This standard applies to carbon steel forgings, alloy steel forgings and stainless steel forgings for petroleum drilling machinery products with a rated working pressure not greater than 140MPa.
