- This standard specifies the product classification, rated parameters, usage conditions, technical requirements, test methods, test rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of relays for rolling stock (including EMUs). This standard applies to relays used for various protection, control and measurement purposes in main circuits, auxiliary circuits and control circuits on rolling stock. Relays used on urban rail vehicles can be used as a reference. This standard does not apply to relays used in communication signaling systems on rolling stock.
