Scope
This standard specifies the devices, methods and requirements for measuring gas flow during factory tests of water ring vacuum pumps and water ring compressors (collectively referred to as pumps without distinction). This standard applies to measuring the gas flow of water ring pumps with orifice plates and metering nozzles, but the metering nozzles are only applicable to the measurement of gas flow of water ring vacuum pumps.
