Scope
This standard specifies the technical parameters, test methods and inspection rules of metal oxide surge arresters with porcelain jacket and composite jacket without gaps for ±800kV DC transmission. This standard applies to gapless metal oxide surge arresters with porcelain jacket and composite jacket. This standard does not apply to gas-insulated metal-enclosed metal oxide arresters.
