- This part of GB/T 25068 specifies various security gateway technologies, components and various types of security gateway architectures. It also provides guidance on the selection and configuration of security gateways. Although a personal firewall uses similar technology, it is outside the scope of this standard because it is not used as a security gateway. This section applies to technical and management personnel, such as IT managers, system administrators, network administrators and IT security personnel. The guidelines provided in this section help users correctly select the type of security gateway architecture that best meets their security requirements.
