Scope

This part of GB/T 3939 specifies the principles of rope naming and the composition of markings. This section applies to the naming and marking of vegetable fiber ropes, synthetic fiber ropes and hybrid ropes that have not been impregnated or coated. Ropes that have been impregnated or coated must be indicated when marking.
